CDR Webster is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. He graduated in 2006 from Jacksonville University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management. He was commissioned as an Ensign in August 2006 via the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps. He is a 2015 graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University earning a master’s degree in Aerospace Science with dual subspecialties in Safety and Unmanned Systems and a 2021 graduate of the University of Arkansas earning a master’s degree in Operations Management.

After commissioning, he completed Aviation Preflight Indoctrination in Pensacola, FL, Primary Flight training with the Rangers of VT-28 in Corpus Christi, TX and Advanced Flight training with the Hellions of HT-28 in Milton, FL. He was designated as a Naval Aviator on September 26, 2008.

CDR Webster’s first Fleet tour was flying the MH-60S with the Island Knights of HSC-25 in Guam. While attached, he made two deployments in 2009 and 2011 to Basra, Iraq and Kuwait in support of MEDEVAC operations with the 2515th Naval Air Ambulance Detachment.
In 2012, CDR Webster transferred to the Dust Devils of VX-31 at NAWC Weapons Division at China Lake where he specialized in high altitude and high angle rescue operations. While attached, he was designated as a project pilot working with the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory developing parachute technology intended for payloads delivered to the surface of Mars.

In June of 2015, CDR Webster reported to the USS NIMITZ (CVN-68) for duty as a Tactical Action Officer where he assumed additional responsibility as the Assistant Training Officer and as a Damage Control Locker Officer. While aboard, the ship successfully executed one of the shortest training cycles on record.

In 2017, he re-designated as a TAR Human Resources Officer. He subsequently served as the Reserve Community Manager for the Human Resources, Foreign Area, Strategic Sealift, Limited Duty Officer, and Chief Warrant Officer communities specializing in community plans and policy development and execution.

From 2021 to 2025 he served at COMPACFLT as the Fleet Deputy Reserve Program Director managing all Reserve support for the PACFLT area of responsibility entailing 9,500 billets, $230M per year in discretionary spending across 10 disparate Fleets and TYCOMs.
He assumed his current role as Executive Officer, Reserve Talent Acquisition Group Northeast in May of 2025.

CDR Webster’s personal decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal (2), Strike/Flight Air Medal (2), Navy Commendation Medal (2), Navy Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal and various campaign and service awards. He has accumulated over 1,200 flight hours. He resides in Chesapeake, Va. with his wife Marianna and daughter Makenzie.
