Command Senior Chief Paul Roberts hails from Brookline, MA, and enlisted in the Navy in March, 2004. Upon completion of Electrician’s Mate “A” school and Naval Nuclear Power School in Charleston, SC, he completed his training at Naval Nuclear Propulsion Training Unit in Ballston Spa, NY. In December 2005, he reported to USS Augusta (SSN 710) in Groton, CT, where he earned his Silver Dolphins.  In February, 2007, he reported to Historic Ship Nautilus (SSN 571). In October, 2009, he reported aboard USS Defender (MCM 2), forward deployed in Sasebo, Japan. After a successful INSURV inspection in 2011, he transferred to Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) in San Diego, CA, as the Training Coordinator for the divers in Code 360.  In March, 2012, he transferred to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, ME, as the lead tug engineer.  He was selected for Chief Petty Officer in September, 2013.  In January, 2015, he transferred to USS Ross (DDG 71) in Rota, Spain, to serve as Maintenance and Material Management Program Coordinator (3MC).  In January, 2020, he reported to Navy Talent Acquisition Group New England in Boston, MA, as an Officer Recruiter. After promotion to Senior Chief Petty Officer, he assumed the billet as Delayed Entry Program Coordinator until his selection into the Command Senior Enlisted Leader program in March 2022. He has attended the Senior Enlisted Academy.
 
Senior Chief Roberts is authorized to wear the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (two awards), and various unit and campaign awards.
