Command Master Chief Deen Lady enlisted in the United States Navy out of Spokane, WA in September 1999. Following completion of basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, he reported to Naval Air Technical Training Center, Pensacola, Florida where he completed aviation electronics technician “I” level apprenticeship training.

 

Upon graduation, he reported for duty with Patrol Squadron 40 as an intermediate level aviation electronics technician. His fleet assignments include AIMD, NAS Whidbey Island; AIMD USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6); AIMD USS Essex (LHD 2); Strike Fighter Squadron 94, and Strike Fighter Squadron 146, NAS Lemoore. In addition, Master Chief Lady completed shore assignments at AIMD, NAS Whidbey Island and FRC West Detachment Fallon, Nevada.

Master Chief Lady is currently serving as the command master chief with Navy Talent Acquisition Group Mid America, headquartered in St Louis. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in electronics technology management from Southern Illinois University. Additionally, Master Chief Lady is a graduate of the U.S. Navy senior enlisted academy class 207 and has earned his Enlisted Aviation, and Surface Warfare designations.

His decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (two awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (five awards), and various unit and campaign awards.
