Command Master Chief (CMDCM) Cesar L. Rojas born in Dominican Republic and raised in New York City, he enlisted in the United States Navy October 2000, completing boot camp and Seaman Apprentice Training in Great Lakes, Illinois.
His sea tours include USS GRASP (ARS 51) from 2001 to 2004, USS MESA VERDE (LPD 19) from 2004 to 2008, Coastal Riverine Squadron FOUR from 2012 to 2017, and USS WHIRLWIND (PC 11) from 2017 to 2018. His shore tours include the Center for Security Forces from 2008 to 2012, Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek from 2018 to 2020, and CSL COMALAPA, El Salvador from 2020 to 2024. He currently serves as NTAG MIAMI Command Master Chief.
CMDCM Rojas career includes numerous deployments to the Persian Gulf in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Commander Task Force Six Eight (CTF 68) in the European Command (EUROCOM) and U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) area of responsibility (AOR) in direct support of maritime, littoral, land, and aircraft point defense. He deployed to U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) Commander Task Force Five Six (CTF 56) AOR in direct support of High Value Assets (HVA) and Expeditionary Security, Naval Surfaces Squadron FIVE (CNSS 5) in direct support of Commander Task Force 52 (CTF 52) and Commander Task Force 55 (CTF 55) regional Maritimes operations, in addition to numerous fleet exercises across the globe.
CMDCM Rojas is qualified Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist, Expeditionary Warfare Specialist, Master Training Specialist, and Tactical Coxswain Operator. He is a graduate of the CMC/COB school class 20010.
