Commander Sean Foster hails from Davis, California. Upon graduating from the United States Naval Academy in 2001, Commander Foster earned his commission in the U.S. Navy. Following graduation from flight school in 2003, Commander Foster was designated a Naval aviator.
Commander Foster’s tours were as a pilot of the EP-3 Aries and with the World Watchers (VQ-1) at NAS Whidbey Island and subsequently as a pilot of the P-3 Orion and C-130 Hercules with the Bloodhounds (VX-30) at NAS Point Mugu. He then served as the operations officer with the Minutemen (VR-55) at NAS Point
Commander Foster has a Master of Arts in business administration from UCLA Anderson and Master of Arts in national security and strategic studies from the U.S. Naval War College and U.S. National War College. Commander Foster most recent tour was as the retired and reserve compensation policy section head on the Chief of Navy Personnel’s Staff. After having served as executive officer of Navy Talent Acquisition Group Miami he was promoted to commanding officer.
