Master Chief Guerrero was born in Weslaco, TX and graduated from Santa Rosa High School in 1993. After joining the Navy, he attended ABF “A” school in Millington, TN where he served on the USS New Orleans (LPH-11), USS Essex (LHD-2), and the USS Boxer (LHD-4) as an ABFAN to ABFC.


In September 2008, he converted to NCC (Career Recruiting Force) and qualified DLCPO. After his first year as the DLCPO, his division had the medium station and small station of the year. His division also won division of the year and was awarded DLCPO of the year.


Master Chief Guerrero transferred to NRD Phoenix where he made NCCS then NRD Dallas where he was the ACR and made master chief. On December 16, 2017 he received his Master Degree in organizational development and leadership from the University of the Incarnate Word and qualified as chief recruiter.

 

Master Chief Guerrero is currently the chief recruiter at NRD Jacksonville where he serves as the primary advisor to the commanding officer in all matters involving officer and enlisted missions. He is humble and proud to serve the team of NRD Jacksonville.


His Awards include: Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (three) and numerous unit and service awards
