Danzia Kramer

Senior Chief Petty Officer Danzia Kramer is a native of San Diego, CA and enlisted into the United States Navy Delayed Entry Program in March of 2000.
After completion of Bootcamp at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, she attended Sonar Technician “A” School as well as Basic Acoustic Analysis and Integrated Undersea Surveillance Analysis schools. She reported to her first duty station, JMF St. Mawgan, United Kingdom in 2002. Excelling onboard, she qualified as Duty Maintenance Technician, earned her IUSS Warfare designation and advanced to petty officer 3rd class. Prior to reporting to her next duty station she successfully completed SQS-53C Maintenance Technician “C “School, AN/UYQ-25B SIMAS Operator, OBT Maintenance, Fathometer Operator/Technician, Basic Acoustic Analysis Refresher schools before reporting onboard USS BENFOLD (DDG 65).
While onboard USS BENFOLD she was advanced to petty officer 2
nd class and earned her Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist designation. She transferred in 2006 to Enlisted Navy Recruiting Orientation School in Pensacola, FL., for instruction as Recruiter prior to arriving at Navy Recruiting District (NRD) Denver.
Kramer quickly adapted to her new assignment, qualifying as and assuming the duties of Recruiter-in-Charge of Navy Recruiting Station North Valley. She was meritoriously advanced to petty officer 1st class and laterally converted to Navy Career Counselor (Recruiter) in 2009. She attended the Career Recruiting Force Academy, Pensacola, FL., in 2010 prior to arriving at NRD Los Angeles.
While at NRD Los Angeles, she qualified as Advanced Officer Recruiter and Leading Chief Petty Officer, was recognized as Sailor of the Year for 2011, and was promoted to the rank of chief petty officer. While there, she served as Hollywood Hills and West Valley Division Leading Chief Petty Officer. She transferred to NRD San Diego March 2015.
Kramer served as Divisional Leading Chief Petty Officer, Recruiter Tactics Instructor and Officer Programs Assistant Chief Recruiter during her time at NRD San Diego. She was named Division Leading Chief Petty Officer of the year for 2017, was promoted to senior chief petty officer and attained her Assistant Chief Recruiter Qualification before transferring to NRD Los Angeles in September of 2018.
Back at NRD Los Angeles, she served as Officer Programs Assistant Chief Recruiter, Enlisted Assistant Chief Recruiter and Director of Personnel and Operations. She qualified Chief Recruiter and completed the Senior Enlisted Academy before transferring to Navy Talent Acquisition Group Southwest, where she currently serves as Chief Recruiter.
Her personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (2 awards), the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (6 awards), the Navy Good Conduct Medal (7 awards), and the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal along with various other service and campaign awards.
