NCCM Maduemesi was born in Lagos, Nigeria and graduated from St. Charles Special Science School Onitsha. In August 1999, he relocated to Los Angeles, CA and enlisted in the United States Navy.

After attending basic military training at Recruit Training Center Great Lakes in March 2000, he reported to Naval Air Training Center Pensacola, FL, where he attended and graduated from aviation boatswain’s mate, launching and recovery equipment (ABE) “A” school.

NCCM Maduemesi’s first permanent assignment was onboard USS Nimitz (CVN 68) homeported in Norfolk, VA. The ship was undergoing overhaul and refueling. He served as air department V-2 arresting gear supervisor, deck edge operator and flight deck operator during the Gulf War. He qualified as an enlisted air warfare specialist and was meritoriously promoted three times during his four-year-tour.

In June 2004, NCCM Maduemesi reported to enlisted recruiter orientation (ENRO) division in Pensacola for recruiting school with a follow-on assignment at Navy Recruiting District (NRD) Los Angeles as a recruiter at Navy Recruiting Station (NRS) Hawthorne. His performance as a recruiter, recruiter-in-charge and zone supervisor led to numerous district, region and national awards. He moved up the ranks quickly from petty officer second class to chief petty officer during his four-year-tour with NRD Los Angeles.

In August 2008, he was selected and attended the career recruiting force (CRF) academy. After graduating, he reported to NRD Houston and led a training shop and two zones. Additionally, he was selected as the NRD Houston’s zone supervisor of the year for three consecutive years. Most notably, he was awarded the fiscal year 2011 senior enlisted leadership award and FY 2009 Region West zone supervisor of the year.

NCCM Maduemesi earned his Bachelor’s Degree in business administration and is actively pursuing dual Master’s Degrees in business administration and health care administrator from Trident University International.

In August 2012, NCCM Maduemesi was qualified as assistant chief recruiter and selected to become the enlisted programs assistant chief recruiter at NRD Ohio. During the absence of the chief recruiter in April 2013, he performed as the chief recruiter until a replacement was assigned in August 2013.

NCCM Maduemesi reported to NRD Atlanta in March 2016 as the enlisted assistant chief recruiter. While assigned, the command was selected as the FY 2017 Region East district of the year and received the recruiting “R” silver award.
