Senior Chief Marion Cruse is a native of Concord, NC and enlisted in the United States Navy in April 2003. Following completion of basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, he attended hospital corpsman “A” school in Great Lakes, IL.

Senior Chief Cruse’s assignments include 3rd Medical Battalion, Okinawa, Japan; 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, 3rd Marine Wing Support Squadron 373, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, CA; Navy Environmental and Preventive Medicine Unit FIVE, San Diego, CA; Recruit Division Commander at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, IL; and USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), San Diego, CA.

He is currently assigned as an officer recruiter for Navy Talent Acquisition Group Pittsburgh and command senior enlisted leader.

Senior Chief Cruse has been awarded the Air Medal with 1 Strike, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (two awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (three awards), Meritorious Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal and other various service and unit and campaign awards.
