Senior Chief Little enlisted in the Navy in July 2000 after graduating high school from Fredericton High School, in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. He completed Basic Training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, Illinois, followed by Enginemen “A” school. His first assignment after training was USS YORKTOWN (CG-48) home ported in Pascagoula, Mississippi.
 
Senior Chief Litter transferred to Navy Recruiting District New Orleans in December 2004, recruiting out of Navy Recruiting Station North Little Rock. In 2005 he qualified as Leading Petty Officer. In April 2006 his recruiting station became part of Navy Recruiting District Nashville, where he was promoted to Chief Petty Officer and assumed the role of Zone Supervisor for the southern Arkansas Zone. In 2008 he transferred to USS Tortuga (LSD-46) in Sasebo Japan.
 
During his sea tour Senior Chief Little submitted his package to the Career Recruiting Force and was selected. He attended the Career Recruiting Force Academy in Pensacola Florida in June 2011. Upon graduation he transferred to Navy Recruiting District Dallas where he served as the Division Leading Chief Petty Officer for Southern Oklahoma. During his tour he completed his Bachelors of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of Illinois. In 2014 Senior Chief Little transferred to NRD Seattle to be the Division Leading Petty Officer for the State of Alaska. He completed his Master of Business Administration Degree (MBA) with Post University in 2016. He was promoted to Senior Chief Petty Officer in 2017, and transferred to NRD Nashville as the Assistant Chief Recruiter (ACR).
 
Senior Chief Little served as the ACR and Director of Personnel and Operations (DPO) for Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Center Music City from 2017 to 2021. He qualified as Chief Recruiter and was slated to NTAG Ohio River Valley as the Chief Recruiter in December 2021 where he is currently stationed.
 
His personal decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (four awards), Navy and Marine Achievement Medal (seven awards), and various service and campaign medals.  Senior Chief Little is married to his wife Shannon and has a son Caleb, 16 years old.
