Audience
Newly assigned Command Trainers.

 

Course Objectives
Prepare participants to serve as the Command Trainer at a Navy Recruiting District (NRD). Command Trainers are Responsible for the execution of the NRD training program as directed by the Executive Officer. Provide training to command personnel, maintain command training files and tracking systems, and ensure compliance with applicable instructions and policies.

Course Description
This four-day course provides newly assigned Command Trainers (CT) with the skills and knowledge to perform the duties of the CT. The course consists of modules in PQS Management, Training Systems (i.e., CeTARS, FLTMPS, etc…), Planning Board For Training (PB4T) Management, Inspections, Virtual Training via Defense Connect Online (DCO), Instructor / Facilitator techniques, VALOR Continuous Learning System (CLS) Management and reporting requirements.

Emphasis is placed on making the transition from a field production supervisor to a district level leader with a broader recruiting strategy perspective. Leadership will focus on the five Navy Leadership Competencies of an Advanced Leader. This course of instruction helps to further ensure that NRC meets its mission requirements of “delivering the right kind in the right numbers at the right time at the best cost” by preparing competent and dedicated leaders.

Requirements
- Be a Career Recruiting Force (CRF) Chief Petty Officer or above with 36 months minimum successful Recruiting DLCPO experience.
- Have a minimum of 18 months left onboard.

Reporting
Students are to report the first day of class at 0745 central time to the Training and Quality Assurance Department (N7), Bldg. 750, 5722 Integrity Drive, Naval Support Activity (NSA) Mid-South, Millington, Tenn. 38054
