Command Master Chief Robinson enlisted in the Navy on August 5, 1996 and attended basic training in Great Lakes, IL. After basic training he reported to The Presidential Ceremonial Guard in Washington, D.C. In October 1998, he attended builder “A” school in Gulfport, MS. and reported in December 1998 to Amphibious Construction Battalion One (ACB-1) for his first Seabee tour. While in ACB-1, he deployed to Cairo, Egypt and Tarragona, Spain. In January 2003, he reported to NAVSTA Atsugi, Japan and served as project supervisor, and operations chief, and was promoted to chief petty officer in 2006. Master Chief Robinson then reported to NMCB 5 in February 2003 where he served as Bravo Company operations chief, detail Sasebo AOIC/OPS chief, homeport material liaison officer and battalion safety chief. In 2007 he deployed to Japan as AOIC/Ops chief of detail Sasebo and in 2009 he was deployed to Afghanistan to establish Camp Natasha located in the Helmand province area. Next, he reported to Naval Facilities Engineering Command Hawaii in January 2010. There he severed as senior enlisted advisor (SEA) and was promoted to senior chief petty officer. In September 2013 Master Chief Robinson reported for duty as operations chief/DLCPO for Navy Cargo Handling Battalion ONE where he deployed to Antarctica and was selected for the command senior chief program. He was selected for command master chief in August 2017, and is currently severing as command master chief for Navy Recruit District Michigan.

 

Master Chief Robinson is designated as, Seabee combat warfare, and expeditionary warfare specialist. Attended Senior Enlisted Academy (Class189/Brown), and CMC/COB Course (Class 178). He holds an associate of arts degree in construction technology and bachelor’s degree in justice administration.

 

His personal awards include the following: Navy Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy Achievement Medal (three awards), and many other unit and personal awards.
