Headquartered in the Northern Heartland, Navy Recruiting District Minneapolis operates 50 Navy Recruiting Stations and 5 Military Entrance Processing Stations in nine zones, covering Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and the western edge of Wisconsin and a portion of western Illinois.

The 150 enlisted and officer recruiters, as well as a support staff of nearly 40 military and civilian personnel, take seriously their duty and responsibility to provide the highest quality Sailors possible, officer and enlisted, to successfully carry out our Navy's vital mission.  Each and every day we actively and aggressively seek out those individuals who possess the unique skills, dedication, and professionalism required to "man the battle stations" of tomorrow and strive for excellence in every facet of our lives, both on and off duty.

Professionalism, enthusiasm, pride, and military bearing are our guiding principles. The Navy's core values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment are our way of life. 

Our focus is not on "selling the Navy."  Rather, as we work hard to live and exude these principles and values, tell the wonderful "Navy story" to all who will listen...the Navy will sell itself.
