CDR Clint Ceralde began his career in 1992 when he enlisted out of Los Angeles, California before attending Recruit Training Command in Orlando, Florida.

When he was enlisted, he served aboard the USS Bremerton (SSN-698), Submarine Squadron 11, and later as a recruiter at Naval Reserve Recruiting Command Area Pacific.

Before receiving his commission in 2006 through the STA-21 program, CDR Ceralde was assigned to NROTC UC Berkeley. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the California Maritime Academy.

After receiving his commission, CDR Ceralde qualified as a Surface Warfare Officer while assigned to the USS Kearsarge (LHD-3) as the Electrical Division Officer. He went on to serve aboard the USS Ashland (LSD-48) as the Combat Information Center Officer, and U.S. Fleet Forces Command as the Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) Cell Deputy Lead Planner. Selected for lateral transfer in 2012, CDR Ceralde is presently serving as a Human Resources Officer.

As a Human Resources Officer, CDR Ceralde attended the Naval Postgraduate School where he received his Master of Science in Management, and the Outstanding Thesis Award from the Graduate School for Business and Public Policy for his published research on Maximizing Female Retention in the Navy.

CDR Ceralde’s most previous assignments include Operations Officer at Navy Region Southwest Transient Personnel Unit (NRSW TPU) San Diego, Programs Manager on the staff of Commander, Naval Surface Force U.S. Pacific Fleet, N1 Department Head at Naval Special Warfare Group ONE, and Military Administration Group Head at Naval Information Warfare Center, Pacific.

CDR Ceralde is currently assigned to Navy Talent Acquisition Group Golden Gate and lives in Mountain View CA with his family.
